In Scotland we have no domicility laws making it possible to be married in a Scottish church on the same day as you arrive in Scotland as long as the legal paperwork is in order. However, we do advise all of our clients to arrive a few days prior to the ceremony in order that you can take the time to relax and settle, view the Church and reception venue and collect the marriage schedule.
In Scotland you do have the choice of holding a religious Scottish ceremony almost anywhere you choose as long as an address or a grid reference of the location can be given, and that we also have the ministers consent!
The Church and wedding ceremony are among the most important aspects of your special day – it is the basis of the wedding day, around which, the celebration takes place. It is the joining of two people as man and wife in their future lives together, and the coming together of two families.

Scotland is spoilt for choice of Scottish Churchs for couples to hold their wedding – it may be your wish your wedding to take place in that secluded little Kirk away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life - somewhere peaceful and tranquil on a Scottish hillside, or you may choose the grandeur of a Cathedral, with the option of a choir and the toll of the huge church bells - we have some of the finest. Some couples want a ruin, a folly, an old Castle or Palace – whatever your choice, historical, or perhaps as part of a family tradition or clan, we will do our utmost to fulfil your dream and find that special location and venue for your wedding.
